Compare and Contrast Judaism versus Christianity

This is a big topic, and opinions vary. Do a web search on "Compare Contrast Judaism Christianity" and you'll not only get more than enough results you'll also find answers that don't all agree. So, I'll do the best I can...

First, Christianity is a religion, period. Judaism, on the other hand, gets confused between the religion, Judaism, and being a Jew which is an ethnicity or member of a people or nation. There are secular (non-religious) Jews, practicing Jews (reform, conservative, orthodox, reconstructionist, and more), non-practicing Jews, and even Messianic Jews that believe in the divinity of Jesus. It would make no sense to say "secular Christian," that's an oxymoron. There are, however, folks who describe themselves as, or can be viewed as, non-practicing Christians.

OK, let's get at it...
